Your right the Argos sailed the Baltic to get the Golden Fleece ,so
a mermaid could work. What do you think about Italy, the Gondola?
I also gave our St Lawrence the Maple Leaf I thought you would
appreciate that one.

Yeah the Gondola works well , nautical in a way. And the maple leaf for the St. Lawrence is good thanks. But as for the Argo sailing the Baltic, seems not n=right because the Golden Fleece was located in Colcis which was at the far end of the Black Sea wasn't it ? So the route was from Greece up the Aegean , through the Bosphorus then across the Black Sea ?

I worked a 16 hr shift last night so I have an excuse for mixing those
two up (Black Sea vrs. Baltic Sea) Additionally, I had my 4 greyhounds
crawling all over me when I was writing that post. Thank You for pointing
that out to me I obviously missed that one.

Since you like the Gondola thats probably a keeper.

I am glad people are adding their input. Keep it up!

Also, if I am ever wrong like that again please let me know

I like the Panama hat for the Panama Canal and before Lord of Time
can point out they originated in Ecuador they have been associated
with that region because of the canal.

So will these pins be for cruises going forward and only ones bood through the CF forum ? ( seems logical and fair).
SO they should all be distinguished with a CF on them somewhere. Will they be pictures on a circular background, as opposed to a more elaborate pin in the shape of the gondola , or polar bear etc ? scratch

I know nothing ( about making pins ) . Hopefully there is a pin Freek monitoring this. Seems he cheapest form would be a photo laminated onto a circular or square or shield base shape.

Hi everyone,

Actually Susan (Host Ivanova) has someone who can make pins for us. So, it's just matter of getting down the concepts and bringing them to life. Did I tell you all that I LOVE this idea?

Keep the great ideas coming!

Tina

That is great! Maybe on the group cruises they can be handed out at the Meet and Greet or pre-cruise hotel... with Cruise Freek cabin door signs and Pat's lanyards.

We could do the cruise date and ship with Cruise Freeks on a lanyard (see photo of a lanyard below):

I use a hole punch and hook the laynard to the card. You can then

choose to wear it around your neck or keep it in your pocket. Either

way it makes it more difficult to loose which is the whole point.

Yes, what A great idea!! I love it!

Hadn't checked the list lately and should have posted this sooner - would suggest hula dancer for Hawaii - pineapples aren't native and the pineapple plantations are closing left and right, sadly.
