Christmas Cruisers on EOS in 2010 - Yes, yet ANOTHER poll

I took it upon myself to contact Tina about having lunch one of the days in our pre-cruise package at Ellen's Stardust Diner based on Michele's (cruisingmama06) suggestion. If this is something of interest please take a moment to vote in the poll so Tina can start getting things set up for us.

I voted lunch on Saturday because frankly, some of us may not be able to do 2 full days precruise because of schedules and flying in or Amtrak.

I know the Amtrak schedule from here to NYC and if we come up on Friday, we won't be in town until 5pm.

So if we want to include the most people, we should have it on Saturday. Smile

forgive me but I have been trying to figure out what "EOS" is.

EOS means Explorer of the Seas, the Royal Caribbean Ship

Yes, what mnmom said, but we are only saying "EOS" as a reference because it may not be Explorer of the Seas for this sailing. We are preparing to go on whatever Royal Caribbean ship is sailing out of NJ on 12/2010. It may be Explorer, it may be another ship. Very Happy

thanks CRUISINMAMA. Enjoy your children!!! my kids and I always had such a good time!!!. Now they are grown and I do miss them, empty nest symdrome. However, I have grandchildren now, so much fun!!!!.

We are taking my parents and my inlaws so both sets of granparents will be onboard with my kids for Christmas. And if this ship does become a Freedom class sailing, then the kids couldn't ask for a better ship.

How old are your grandchildren? We have lots of kids going on this sailing. They would have company. Very Happy

My grandkids would be four years old. Boys. Jayden and Roman. My daughter in law is expecting another boy in February2009. When am I going to get a gdaughter? I will never know. I will invite my children and see if they want to go.

If we arrive in time for lunch on Friday, that would be great. We'll be leaving from St. Louis so I'm not sure if we'd make it. But Saturday's great too!!

I think this place looks like a great idea! Saturday would probably be easier on all the travelers, especially the little ones. jocolor

I said no cuz we want some time to see the sights.....between eating each night and plays/shows, not going to have much free time.....

We'll just grab a dirty water dog that afternoon.. Laughing

We casted our vote for Saturday because not sure when all will be coming in on Friday and it gives more Zoo Crewers a chance to go. It looks like a lot of fun. We will be bringing nieces and nephews with us (ages 9-17 ... total of 6 ... at time of cruise). Looks like something they would enjoy.

Since I live in Brooklyn, all these places are pretty close by. My hubby and I will not be participating in alot of the dinners as his doctors does not want him to overdo it and then get sick for the cruise. I would enjoy the getting together with everyone though. We will probably celebrate our wedding anniversary on that cruise.
