Good Sunday Morning.

Candy, would this cruise have to be a Disney Cruise since Disney owns the Hannah Montana rights?? What are the chances of getting Hannah Montana herself??? If this does go through, when would you be aiming to arrange this for??

If Disney requires that it be on a DCL ship, we'd be limited to cruising out of FL for now (or waiting until one of the new ships comes out, and probably one of the older ships is deployed to CA).

Livabeth- It is not going to be an Official Hannah Montana Cruise. It is going to be a Charity Cruise for Make-A-Wish featuring actors from Hannah Montana. I've got Jason Earles for sure right now. What's the chances of getting Miley? I honestly don't know. I'm going to try. And it looks like this summer. I know that there is a lot of other stuff going on for Cruise Freeks, but I have to work it around the celebs' schedules in order to pull it off.

Susan - I'm not going to partner with Disney for this. They are a NIGHTMARE to work with, especially when it comes to copyrights and such. It is a very fine line working with them. I am going to do everything I possibly can in order to avoid it.

Candy - not to mention DCL groups are a royal pain (and that's not even an option during peak season).....

As for Miley/Billy Ray, those are two I haven't run into yet at the grocery store (it's a perk living in the greater Nashville area, you run into Trisha Yearwood, Trace Atkins, Faith Hill's personal chef, Barbara Mandrell, etc. in some of the damnedest places). Wink

LOL - yeah, blah blah blah - but I don't mind running into them at the post office, grocery store, etc. Although I should tell you the story about how my husband almost killed Trisha Yearwood's dog (quite by accident). Razz

I love that it will be a Make A Wish charity cruise. Any celebrities would be great ... as great as it would to have Miley herself, any actor from the Hannah Montana show/movie would be fantastic!! This summer may be tight for us ... we have summer camping and cottage plans and don't typically cruise during the summer months, but if it is a "once in a lifetime" Hannah Montana cruise, I could sell this alot more to my family Wink Perhaps we could convince others to take an interest in the cruise. Keep us posted!!

Livabeth - Good to know! I'm actually waiting to hear back from Jason Earles to find out when he would like to do it. Smile

Hey, folks-

The Hannah Montana cruise is 100% going to happen this summer. I'm waiting to hear back from Jason Earles (Jackson on the show) to find out which sailing he would prefer. It is going to benefit the Make A Wish foundation. If you are truly interested in this cruies, please email me at PRTTraveller@gmail.com.

Thanks,
Candice

From Candy Cain at PRT Travel
Hannah Montana Cruise on the Mariner of the Seas this summer benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation - Meet Jason Earles (Jackson)!
Plus Dancing With the Stars in 2011!
Take a look at the amazing cruise experiences offered!

Oh my goodness! It's Hannah Montana!

This summer, bring your teenager on a cruise that they will never forget. Jason Earles plays Jackson on Hannah Montana, and he has joined PRT Travel to go on a cruise this summer! The Mariner of the Seas leaves out of Los Angeles on August 9, 2009 and visits a variety of ports in Mexico. While onboard, my guests will be able to attend a party with Jason, take photos and even get autographs. We've got a lot more to offer, too! Plans for a pre-cruise package include a special breakfast at the Had Rock Cafe, followed by a full day at Universal Studios Hollywood. Plus, you can expect all sorts of free swag and surprises onboard. Everyone will feel like a VIP! With the release of the Hannah Montana movie in June, this cruise is sure to be a sell-out. Make your teen's dream come true this summer!

Dance Upon the Water in April, 2011

We've got something for those of you that prefer something a little more mature than Hannah Montana. It is none other than the hit ABC television show, Dancing With the Stars! On April 9, 2011, the Explorer of the Seas will be host to celebrities and dancers from Dancing With the Stars. My guests will be able to meet and greet with the stars and dancers at a private cocktail party (autographs and pictures welcome). There are also some other activities planned. More details coming soon!

Both of these cruises are going to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. A wish for each of these cruises is currently being assigned. $50 per stateroom will be donated to Make-A-Wish, and I am going to match that donation. Make-A-Wish would like us to raise $6,000 per cruise, which is the average amount a Wish costs to be granted. I hope to double that amount for each of these cruises.

If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask. The booking forms, pricing and more information for both of these cruises are available on the website. Please note that a press release will go out on Friday about these cruises. Since you are on the email list, you have the opportunity to book first! Feel free to pass the info on to your friends.

Thanks for reading,
