OK, just my 2 cents here, BUT.... Assuming DWTS' maintains its past production schedule, won't it still be in production during April, 2011? Who are you going to get to "star" during April, unless is was a past loser/winner???? For those of us who have to fly to a cruise port, any cruise port... nothing against the Big Apple, but I don't want my first 2 days of cruising to be 'getting' somewhere warm, I want it to BE warm.... You might want to consider one of the FOUR FL departure ports... just my 2 cents...

Murphy - Very valid points. However, I think that this cruise is going to focus on the activities during the At Sea days with the DWTS people. As for the production schedule, we are most likely going to get people that have already appeared on DWTS. They don't release the current stars until December or January anyway, so it would be quite difficult to choose people that are on the current season. Plus, there is always the tour after the show ends, so they wouldn't be available for a cruise until at least the following year anyway. Hope this answers your questions! Candy

I just realized what Pro/Am is.... Professional / Amateur. Am I right? Sheesh. After seeing that term for years, you'd think I'd catch on quicker! Can

Yes, pro/am is professional/amateur. Most people compete with their teacher/partner as I do. Which doens't mean that we don't hire coaches in to coach us. Pro/Am is big and expensive as you pay for the entry plus your Pro's dance fees, plus if you travel you pay all his travel expenses. If he has other students that he competes with you share his travel expenses but you still pay for him to dance with you per dance.
