| By the way, is there any discount on Disney for booking as group? And how about amenities? Anything special in that department? I've never booked a Disney cruise but this sounds too fun to pass up. _________________ If I'm not on a cruise, I'm planning one!

Kim here's link to Travelocity for the deck plans and if you go to Deck 8, you'll see all the suites but I think they only have a photo of category 1: http://travel.travelocity.com/ecruise/ShipDetailsDeck.do?shipId=73&deckId=651 |

We only get one of the choices, is that correct? Can't imagine we get all of them. |

| | Oh this works out MUCH better, was trying to justify taking the kids out of school for 4 days to go on the Memorial Day week cruise, Easter week/Spring break is PERFECT. |

| Forgive me if I ramble to get to my point and questions. Since this sailing has been moved to Easter, I am more than likely going to bring my neice who will be 5 years old at sailing. Unfortunately my sis-in-law gets seasick and therefore neither she nor my brother will be joining us. However, my parents - who obliviously are also my neices grandparents will be coming along. While I've been to Disney parks, this will be our first Disney cruise for all of us. Here come the questions:
1) I know we need a permission form and that both parents need to sign it and it needs to be notarized. Is there anything else we need?
2) Would you go for two inside or maybe outside connecting/adjoining cabins or would you recommend taking one of the two bedroom suites. In other words, which is more cost effective?
3) Anything else you can tell me to help entertain a 5 year old would be really appreciated. I know it's Disney but, you know how kids can get!
Thanks! |

Same thoughts here! So glad it's moved to Easter! Now, I'm also interested to hear about Disney cruise lines because while we've also been to the parks, this will be our first Disney cruise. And, yes, I'm bummed, I already know no casino but, for 3 days I can live with it. |

1. Not only would I have a notarized letter signed by both parents giving you permission to take the child on the cruise, but also a separate notarized letter signed by both parents giving you permission to seek "any necessary medical/dental care" while the child is in your temporary custody (and have the parents include the dates that you have this permission, starting a day before you leave home and ending about a week after you return home). 2. It would actually be more cost effective to get 2 connecting ocean view or inside rooms, than a 2 bedroom suite. Depending on the ages of everyone involved, you can also try for an inside room ACROSS from an ocean view room. 3. The answer to this will actually be specific to the 5 year old involved, and the parents can probably answer this question better. More than likely she'll end up in the kids' activity center and absolutely LOVE it, and you won't need to worry about keeping her entertained. But in the even that she doesn't hit it off with the activity center counselors and other kids, her parents might be able to give you some ideas of what she enjoys doing (swimming, watching movies, etc.). _________________ Susan Schaefer, MCC, DS Ships 'N' Trips Travel * supporting charity through travel *

| I'm curious, any reason that Disney releases their pricing later than the other cruise lines? Not that I'm anxious or anything |
